Atul Subhash Suicide Case: According to Bengaluru Police, Nikita Singhania, along with her brother and mother, has filed a bail petition in the Bengaluru Court in connection with Atul Subhash’s suicide case. Atul and Nikita were married in 2019, but disputes between them had been ongoing since their marriage.

Atul Subhash Suicide Case: Atul died by suicide on December 9. According to the police, he took this step allegedly due to harassment from his wife and her family. Following Atul Subhash’s death, Nikita was arrested on December 14 in Gurugram, Haryana, while her mother and brother were arrested in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. All three were brought to Bengaluru, where they were presented in court and subsequently sent to 14 days of judicial custody.

24-Page Suicide Note Written Before Death

According to the police, Subhash wrote a 24-page suicide note before taking his own life. In the note, he detailed the stress he experienced after marriage, family issues, and the alleged harassment by his wife and in-laws. He also shared this suicide note in a WhatsApp group of an NGO.

Police revealed that the three accused jointly filed a bail petition on Thursday. Atul and Nikita were married in 2019, but disputes arose soon after their marriage, escalating into several legal battles. In 2020, the couple had a son. Based on a complaint filed by Atul’s brother, police registered a case against Nikita, her mother, brother, and an uncle, Sushil Singhania, for abetment to suicide. However, Sushil has already been granted anticipatory bail by the Allahabad High Court. The court will now hear the bail plea filed by the remaining accused.
